Placer County Real Estate Sales June 1st - June 7th, 2009

There were 78 homes, 7 condos, 1 halfplex, 3 parcels of land and 0 multi-unit income properties sold in Placer County between June 1st and June 7th, 2009 in Metrolist MLS. 39 of the properties sold were bank owned and 15 were short sales. 

The least expensive property that sold in Placer County during the period was a 991 square-foot bank owned condo on Galena Drive in Auburn, which sold for $50,000 after being listed for $65,000. The most expensive property that was sold in Placer County during the period was a 5,000 square-foot home on Shady Tree Lane in Winchester Country Club in Meadow Vista, which sold for $875,000 after being listed for $899,000.

Almost 90 closed sales in a six day period? That's not bad at all. Especilly in what people are calling a down market! I guess it's not that bad after all?

Sales have been up since last summer, excluding the first few months of this year. The big problem has been price depreciation.
