Short Sales Can Now be Searched Separately on Our Sites
Due to some changes with Metrolist MLS, our systems are now capable of searching short sales and listings requiring court approval separately from other listings.
I have now added two new pages to our site specifically for searching short sales and probate sales.
Based on some of the statistics I have recently compiled that show that short sales have a very poor approval rate, I have decided to remove them from the default lists I provide throughout our sites.
The lists of properties provided through the site will now include properties that only require the approval of the seller to close escrow, whether the seller is an owner occupant, investor or bank, and will no longer include properties that require third party approval, such as short sales and probate sales.
If someone is interested in searching short sales or probate sales, they can now do so by using the pages indicated above.
This change should help end the confusion that was created when short sales were intermingled amongst other listings and will allow visitors to our site to get to the meat of the market and the listings that actually have a chance of selling.
