Phase 1 of the www.PlacerCountyHomesandLand.com Redesign is Done
You may have wondered why my blog posts have come to a crawl lately.
For the past few months, I have been hard at work rebuilding and improving our website www.PlacerCountyHomesandLand.com.
I am proud to say, that phase 1 of the project is now completed and the new improved version of our site is now online.
Some of the improvements that you will be able to see as a user are:
- More integrated search function that allows you to search by subdivision, map and foreclosure status.
- More photos for each listing.
- Integration of Bing's Birds Eye View maps and Google Streetview where available for listings.
- "Get Local" function that will provide a map of nearby schools and amenities for listings, along with city level demographic information.
- Get directions tool powered by Google Maps for each listing.
- You no longer need to lower your cookies down to low security level to sign in.
- Our team is better integrated, so that you can get to the right agent more quickly.
These changes are just some that have been made. The navigation has changed some as well and the back end of the site has been improved a lot to allow us to respond to your requests faster.
For those of you who have saved searches and listings through the old website, we were not able to move that information over in an efficient way. You will continue to receive updates from that system, which has been integrated into our other site www.PlacerCountyBankRepo.com. However, if you wish to use the functions on the revised website, you will need to create a new account.
To access your old searches and account, Click Here and login as you always have. To access the new system, just visit the new site at www.PlacerCountyHomesandLand.com.
If you have any questions about the website conversion, or about real estate in general, please feel free to call or e-mail us any time.
