The number of homes for sale in Placer County decreased in April when compared to March, and was down even more substantially compared to April of last year.
The number of new listings that were added to to the market in April was lower than the number added in March and the number of listing added to the market in April of last year.
The least expensive home listed for sale in Placer County is a 672 square-foot major fixer on Wise Road in Newcastle, which is listed for $29,600. The most expensive home for sale in Placer County is a 8,700 square-foot home on 5 Acres on Oak Creek Place in Granite Bay, which is listed for $3,850,000.
As of May 30th, 2011, in addition to the homes currently listed for sale or pending sale, there are also 600 homes listed in Placer County that are short sales in contract awaiting bank approval, which is about slightly less than the number awaiting approval in April.
The number of Placer County homes that were pending sale in April was up when compared to March and April of last year.
The number of homes that sold in Placer County in April was down compared to March, but was up compared to April of last year.
