The number of homes for sale in Placer County increased in July when compared to June, but was down substantially compared to July of last year.
The number of new listings that were added to to the market in July decreased when compared to the number added in June and the number of listings added to the market in July of last year.
The least expensive home listed for sale in Placer County is an 840 square-foot condo on Sapphire Drive Auburn CA, which is listed for $51,000. The most expensive home for sale in Placer County is a 13,137 square-foot home on 4.8 Acres on Rocky Hill Court in Loomis, CA, which is listed for $3,900,000.
As of August 31st, 2011, in addition to the homes currently listed for sale or pending sale, there are also 678 homes listed in Placer County that are short sales in contract awaiting bank approval, which is slightly higher than the 656 that were awaiting approval on July 26th.
The number of Placer County homes that were pending sale in July was up when compared to June and July of last year.
The number of homes that sold in Placer County in July was down over 4% compared to June, but was up nearly 6% compared to July of last year.
